• Replication data for: Conflict, Cooperation, and Delegated Diplomacy (International Organization, 2021): dataverse
• Here is a slightly updated version of the replication archive, which uses the newest release of the MID dataset (V5.0, with coverage extending to 2014).
• From this replication archive, I have organized some of the data in different formats which may be useful for future applications:
  • Here is a dataset of US chiefs of mission, at the COM-appointment level
  • Here is a dataset of foreign chiefs of mission to the US, at the COM-appointment level
  • (If you use data in any of these formats, please just cite the IO article!)

+ This dataset expands on the previous version by including variables capturing the type of visit, the names of any conferences or events attended or agreements signed during the visit, the position of the foreign visitor or visit recipient, and whether any direct leader-to-leader meeting occurred during the visit.
